The back grass being shaded and very sparse was not going to work. We decided to use artificial turf in the back yard as a solution for the poor performing turf.
More InfoThe Christiansen family has a beautiful home in SLC that overlooks the entire salt lake valley to the South. They envisioned a backyard that would be attractive yet functional and provide areas to gather, sit and enjoy the beautiful views and rolling hills behind the home. They also requested natural materials of grass, stone, chocolate mulch, plants and trees. We built rock retaining walls to provide protection from erosion, areas for plantings, and to ease the grade of the sloping hill towards the home. We utilized a beautiful hardscape cement block option to create stairs, retaining walls and block cap for the upper patio sitting area. Finally, the irrigation system was designed to ensure all vegetation would thrive in this new environment. The project went very smoothly and it was a pleasure to work with the Christiansen family to make their vision a reality.
